HINDI

No wonder we are stepping up towards the league of being a developed country but we arelacking something that prompted me to post few lines. It’s about our national language "hindi".Surprisingly but the fact is that once again we are heading towards the black hole. Directly or indirectly somewhere down the line even we too are held responsible for this fall.
Now i won't start from the core areas. It is surprising to see how much parents now-a-days talk to their kids in English and how little in the national language. Whenever I go to some restaurant, park etc and if there is a family with their kids, all I can hear is young kids talking to each other in English. Their parents may talk in hindi but whenever they talk to kids, it would be in English. the reason is simple they want to make their kids go according to the present demand ,they are pushing their kids a head start into the language their kids will use in their professional life but wont they have enough time to learn that in school ?
With upcoming IT sectors, BPO's ,the demand of english has grown up exponentially . But if you look countries like Japan, china and most of the European countries, you will get to know it is because of their national language usage in every field led them to be in the list of the developed countries. The impact is that it brings out the extra energy to boost up and do well. We only know how to do things in extremes, the best way to implement is to keep a balance of all the tiers.

well written...but i would like to inform you that china is still counted in developing countries and one of the main reason is their mother tongue. This is the reason they stand no where in IT & BPO industries compared to INDIA.The new china is catching with english very fast.Guess what next for INDIA.....Don't you think the world should have a common language...hopefully ENGLISH and INDIA is preparing herself.

you are right. but you will surely agree that still there are places in India where neither IT/BT or spoken English fever has caught up yet and not sure when it would be. one thing can be summarized that no one should cross the barrier of his culture to cross the limit of learning which means one should not cut the root climbing on to the branch of tree. enlarging technology, competing with the world is always welcome if one grow up with his past identity but not leaving it.

you right .. and y suld we do copy paste .Mana english jaruri hain par is ka matlab ye nahii ke hum dusre ka lang accept kare .. aur jaha tak baat hain IT ka to communication ke liye .. HINDI bhi boli ja sakti hain . Agar english hi bolna hain to ye desh main kuyu hain log bides me jao .. Apana culture apana culture apna hota hain . So time has come to think about dis. If dis continue i donno ye desh ka kya hoga . So jago yaaro are yaaro jago . Kasam kahao ke hum english nahi bolenge .

Hi Anand,
Thanx for the compliment ,my point is that we should try to narrow down the bridge rather than making english as our prime focus. I have never said that we should not learn it , but in the mean time we need to make hindi as a mandatory language and try atleast aapas mein to baat kar sakte hain.
even you tell me tumne bhi pehle hindi hi sikha hoga , but coz of today's demand you pushed(focussed)urself. so instedad of making english as our common language , we should try to promote hindi as much as possible. My concern is about such a drastic fall. i think all the other guys apart from you are well satisfied with me.

Hi dear....its really going tough here..I have been following this blog for quite sometime and really happy to see people do care about "BHARAT", atleast they have spent their precious time here showering there views.....!!
well here is my views and I am sure many of you will not find it pleasant, however don`t take it as personal offene.
India is really growing at fast pace and is making her identity on globe, however does HINDI only identity that INDIA has. Many talk about culture, roots, identity, Hamari parampara aur pratishtha, but one thing I would like to ask Does that really make a difference if some body call us INDIA or Hindustani or BHARTIYE. We feel pride in every one of them. Yes I fully agree that hindi is our national language but English is global language. It is like a gaint jelly fish, we can`t step on it, neither we can go around it , we have to go through it. I would also like to share with you that Bharat has the only culture with so many diversities, n I love her for that. Don`t make her stagnent , let her flow in this world and she will spread, bcoz "Godi main khelti hain jiski hazaron nadiyan, Hindu hain hum watan hai hindustan hamara"
